Let's suppose you provide consulting services and want to enter that transaction in Tally without involving stock.


Solution:- Follow The steps


Step 1:- Creating Service Ledger:


  • Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounts Info > Ledger > Create. 
  • Enter the name "Consulting Services" under the group "Sundry Debtors" 
  • Then Save



Step 2:- Entering Transaction:


  • Go to Gateway of Tally > Accounting Vouchers > Select "Payment" voucher.
  • Select the appropriate bank account.
  • Choose "Consulting Services" in the field where you usually select items.
  • Enter the amount for the consulting services.
  • Add any necessary details in the narration field.
  • Save the voucher by pressing Ctrl + A.
